Repair of hydraulic cylinders
Hydraulic cylinders are very expensive components that should always be well maintained. Most damage to these cylinders is comparatively easy and inexpensive to repair. The weak points on hydraulic cylinders include the seals, as they have to withstand high internal pressure. In particular, the sealing lips or the Simmerrings are heavily loaded when the piston stand moves in and out. Even the smallest contamination can damage the seal. Rust spots are also common on the piston rod.
The faster an error is discovered, the better the chances of success. Even before buying a new one, you should always check again whether a repair is an option. Since hydraulic cylinders are often custom-made, we can often help our customers with repairs much more quickly and cheaply.
